SEO Meta Fields

The SEO Meta Fields app lets you improve SEO with

  • X-data on individual content
  • Site wide configurations

X-data in individual content

Images

As SEO Meta Fields is an external app, it is not able to fetch images from our asset server. Images added via the SEO X-data are only displayed in Facebook links.

The X-data "SEO" allows you to control how a specific page or document appears in search engines with:

  • Meta title
  • Meta description
  • Image
  • Hide your page from search engines
  • Override the canonical URL

It is available for all content types.

Site wide configurations

Some highlights used across Gjensidige's websites are:

  • Fallback description and image
  • Google Search Console verification code
  • Canonical URLs on all pages (individually overrideable)
  • SEO fallbacks for pages that you haven't yet customized individually
  • Open Graph meta-data, globally and for each page
  • Twitter Cards for each page
  • Hiding pages from search (external and internal)

To find the SEO Meta Fields app, you must edit the site in Content Studio:

  1. Right-click on the site
  2. Select "Edit"

In the site's left-side menu, there's a list of installed Applications above the X-data.

To change site SEO Meta Fields, click the the pencil icon
