Formatting with markdown in parts
Markdown is a simple form of markup language that enables us to create formatted text content in areas where we don't use a rich text editor.
When to use it
How to use markdown
- Type "pensjons--konto" to create
- Type "915__03100" to create
- Type "*word*" to set in bold
- Type "/word/" to set in italics
We use markdown to format text content areas where it's not possible or desired to have a rich text editor, such as header titles or CTAs.
- Make sure titles break correctly as parts scale with screen sizes with shy-breaks
- Make sure prices and phone numbers don't divide over line shifts with no breaking space
- Help keywords and prices stand out in product or feature descriptions with bold
- Highlight difficult terms or important sentences with italics
You may use -- to create shy breaks in any title input field.
